Now or never

It is quite possible that if I don't just start writing about life now that I will never blog again. There is no way that I will ever catch up. Life is just to hectic with four under seven. And if I keep putting this off then they will be 16 when I am finally doing this and that seems to be the same problem that I had with scrapbooking. So between November and now we:
had a baby
had M birthday
had Thanksgiving
had E's birthday
had Christmas with everyone
went to Disneyland
started baseball
had more ballet recitals
had the Pinewood Derby
Valentine's day
etc. etc.

So here they are at 7, 4, 2 and almost 4 months...

And baby makes six!

Thursday, November 5, 2009 our little baby boy arrived and made our crazy clan of five a crazy clan of six. Before we headed off to the hospital we took one last family picture before our new little man arrived.

I started to have contractions early that morning and our doctor said to come right in. We got to the hospital around 8:30 and baby M arrived at 2:30 that afternoon. He was perfect. Almost seven pounds and 19 1/2 inches long. A head of dark brown hair and E's coloring. The kids all came to visit us that evening. We brought our little man home the following day at just about 25 hours old. He fit right into our world. And boy was he loved from the first moment on.

Friday Night Fun

Can you do this?

Or this?

Well, I can. And so can I.

Luke Skywalker and the Pirate save Sleeping Beauty

Luke Skywalker, our grungy Pirate and Sleeping Beauty graced the streets of our new neighborhood this year and were treated with quite a bag of loot. The neighborhood was PACKED with kids. It reminded me of what you see in a movie. And we have quite a great street. One family hosted chili and dogs before trick or treating. What a great way to start our first Halloween here.

Apple Hill...but pumpkins from Bel Air

We made great efforts to get ourselves up to Apple Hill this year. It was packed with people but we ventured on. The kids wanted pumpkins but they were already picked pumpkins- and we figured we could get a better selection at a grocery store. Instead we ate a lot of great apple foods, ran through a hay maze, looked at some animals and made our way back home. Getting out was nice, especially since I had been on a short bed rest days before and Grammie was here helping us get ready for our little arrival.

Happy Birthday to ME!

This day was all about my baby. My baby who will no longer be the baby in another month. My baby who knows he is a big boy and wants to

show everyone so. He is the most independent, head strong and determined of my three. The world who knows him watches as he plows through life on full speed. And he is so happy. Life is good for him and he loves to show it. You cannot help but fall in love with this guy. Those blue eyes, that curly hair. Mmmmm... makes me want to hug him.

Lost Tooth- AGAIN!!

So E's other front tooth has been lose just as long as the first one he lost- BUT it just wasn't quite ready to come out. Tonight I tucked him into bed and we checked to see if it was wiggly enough to come out. I decided it wasn't. But was I wrong. E laid in bed and wiggled that thing until it was just starting to bleed. He came downstairs, I wiggled it and it just wasn't ready. I sent him back up with a tissue. About 30 minutes later he came down again and it was bleeding a lot. I stuck my fingers on that tooth and pulled. Out it came. He said to me, "Mom, see, it just won't come out". It was really cute. He called Daddy and asked him,"Dad, do you know why I sound different?" I was hoping he'd have them out before his school pictures but that did not happen. He is so cute though.
